Professors from Germany and France involved in scientific cooperation with Department of Power Electronics, Electrical Drives and Robotics (KENER) visited Faculty of Electrical Engineering under Erasmus programme.

Prof. Marius Klytta from University of Applied Sciences (THM – Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen), Giessen, Germany visited our Faculty in the period of March 10th in area of power electronics and control of electrical drives. He is also coordinator of CUCEE-Net (Cooperation of Universities in Central and Eastern Europe). During his visit Prof. Klytta attended staff meeting of KENER with short speech on teaching and student exchange at THM. He gave the lecture for students entitled “Harmonic Analysis of Motor Currents in Smart Drive using VSI with Economic DC Link”. He attended also meeting with Authorities of our Faculty.

The second Erasmus visit was done between March 16th de Lorraine, Nancy, France. Four scientists: Prof. Jean Leveque, Dr Melika Hinaje, Dr Bruno Douine and Dr Kevin Berger visited our Faculty first time. They visited selected laboratories of the Faculty, gave lectures for students and met with Authorities of the Faculty and team of the Office of International Exchange. The lectures for students were as follows: M. Hinaje: „Proton exchange membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) Modelling”, J. Leveque: „Superconductivity and superconducting motor”, B. Douine: „Superconducting cables and current limiter in electrical network” and K. Berger: „Characterization of superconductors & High magnetic flux generation”. At the meeting with staff of KENER Prof. J. Leveque presented research profile of his lab. Issues connected with intensification of research cooperation and student exchange were discussed. and 18th , 2014 by scientists from Universite

Both of visits were important in respect of intensification of internationalization process of teaching and developing of international cooperation at the Faculty.
