ON UNIQUENESS OF SOLUTION OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD EQUATION IN ANISOTROPIC AND NONSTATIONARY REGION

COMPENSATED AC/DC CONVERTER SIMULATING BATTERY OPERATION

Summary. The article describes the use of the AC/DC converter with quasi-sinusoidal input current to model batteries. The inverter output voltage depends on the load current and the state of charge of the simulated battery. Simulation studies and laboratory test results confirming correct operation are presented. Also the possibility of using the leakage inductance of the transformer in place of the inverter chokes is showed.

HYBRID ASYMMETRIC MULTILEVEL CONVERTER – SELECTED ASPECTS

Summary. The hybrid asymmetric multilevel converter is presented in the paper. The converter topology is a connection of three-level NPC converter with H-bridges in each converter phase. In an asymmetric multilevel converter dc voltages are different. The main advantage of the hybrid converter, thanks to its special topology and certain dc voltages, is an increase of the number of output voltage levels compared to other multilevel topologies with the same number of transistors. The paper presents a topology of hybrid asymmetric multilevel converter and the analysis of selected aspects of its operation, e.g. an influence of dc voltages on the converter operation and control. The simulation and experimental results of converter operation being a part of the electric drive system feeding a squirrel cage induction motor are presented in the paper.

REVIEW OF SELECTED CONSTRUCTIONS AND THE DESIGN OF AN ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSATING BLOOD FLOW PUMP WITH THE DRIVE CONTROL SYSTEM

Summary. In this paper are proposed the model of electromagnetic driven micropump and the control system of the drive. The purpose of the micropump is the transfusion of liquid (blood) according to the natural cycle of the human heart. In Chapter 2 (Existing solutions of the left ventricular assist devices and a completely artificial heart) are presented two classic examples of the type of rotary pumps supporting the LVAD, and two examples of completely artificial hearts. In Chapter 3 (The construction of innovative electromagnetic driven micropump) are presented the spatial design and a description of the construction of the innovative drive. In Chapter 4 (The field model of the electromagnetic driven micropump drive) an field model analysis of the micropump drive for the proposed two types of control system have been made, based on the micropump construction. Based on the results of the analysis were discussed the disadvantages and advantages of the proposed construction of the micropump drive.

DESIGN METHOD OF HIGH-FREQUENCY CLASS E INVERTERS

Summary. A design method of high-frequency Class E inverters is presented in the article. With increasing operating frequency of resonant inverters, more complex (more accurate) methods for their design are required. In this case, inverter parasitic parameters (e.g. nonlinear output capacitance of MOSFET transistor) are taken into consideration. The proposed method is explained and verified. Two Class E inverters (30 MHz, 300 W) were designed and laboratory tested.

MODEL OF PERMANENT MAGNET BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR USED FOR PARALLEL MANIPULATOR ANALYSIS

Summary. The paper presents modified model of permanent magnet brushless DC motor. The static and dynamic characteristics of the motor were taken into consideration in order to evaluate the developed model. In the comparative analysis, results of the mentioned characteristics were taken into account in case of the modified model and for typical DC motor model, available in Matlab/Simulink environment.

SYMPLICIAL APPROXIMATION DEFINED ON AN IRREGULAR VERTICES SETS FOR A SYNRM MACHINE CURRENT -FLUX CHARACTERISTIC APPROXIMATION

Summary. A Hamiltonian model of an electrical machine requires an approximation of its current-flux characteristic. Such an approximation can be performed with a use of symplicial approximation. Symplicial approximation is based on sets of points in currents and fluxes spaces. To obtain an accurate approximation with sets containing a small number of points, these points should not be distributed uniformly, but sets should be more dense in the areas, where approximated current-flux characteristic is highly nonlinear. In this paper a method of constructing these sets is described. A method is based on an approximation error calculation. Symplicial approximation based on constructed sets is compared to an approximation based on regular sets. In the paper a behavior of a Hamiltonian model of a SynRM machine working with two these approximations is also presented.

MULTIENERGY CARRIERS SYSTEMS MODELLING AN APPLICATION TO ENERGY FLOW CALCULATION

Summary. The possibility of use in energy management of various media lead to modeling multicarriers systems. Such systems are used in industrial plants with developed infrastructure and technologies as well as in local power systems. This approach increases the possibility of a multi-optimization of covering demand and operational security. This article describes a mathematical description of the model presenting multienergy network system. In this system highlights the network structure similar to the structures of power grids. This way of description of these systems can be used to rationalize the end-use of energy.

APPLICATION OF THE BASIS TRANSFORMATION METHOD TO GAINS’ SELECTION OF THE OBSERVER OF INDUCTION MOTOR MAGNETIC FLUXES

Summary. The paper describes an analytical method for gains’ selection of proportional observer of an induction motor. Proposed method enables precise pole placement of the observer and independent optimization in respect to immunity to disturbances and parameter variations of an induction motor.
